Arkema to present its Orgasol® range of fine powders at the IN COSMETICS tradefair

With its expertise in cosmetics and skincare formulations, Arkema continues to streamline the introduction of actives in formulations, while offering new uses for its Orgasol® polyamide active powders which impart texture and targeted action in cosmetics, skincare products and suncare products. The IN COSMETICS tradeshow to be held in Paris from April 13 to 15 2010 will be an opportunity for Arkema to showcase the countless uses and benefits of its fine powders.

Orgasol® Hydra+ was first presented at the 2009 IN COSMETICS tradeshow as the active that is perfectly suited to cosmetics formulations for women in their thirties and older, to help in-depth moisturizing as well as fight the first signs of ageing. On the strength of its proven effectiveness in a color formulation, Orgasol® Hydra+ now boasts new evaluation of results. Orgasol® Hydra+ is a simple and effective solution to impart the activity of hyaluronic acid, well-known in skincare, to anhydrous lip formulations. Thanks to the moisturizing properties of Orgasol® Hydra+, the skin's elasticity is preserved, and lips are replumped and firm.

Also showcased for the first time last year, Orgasol® Pure is the ideal ingredient for the formulation of skincare and make-up remover lotions for oily skin. Orgasol® Pure can also be formulated into oil-free foundation lotions for oily but sensitive skin, while maintaining texture and cover adapted to young skin. Orgasol® Pure combines strength and softness to target skin blemishes.  

Finally, Orgasol® Restore, a ceramides repository that restores the protective hydrolipidic film at the surface of dry skin, boasts proven effectiveness in hydrating lotions for mature skin.
