CECA announces a worldwide price increase of its Siliporite® molecular sieves

CECA announces today that price of its Siliporite® molecular sieves will increase 10 to 15 % depending on product types, effective on January 1st 2005.
This price increase is required to partially compensate for the steep escalation of raw materials, energy and transportation prices.
CECA is a leading supplier for zeolite molecular sieves and produces in its two plants located in Honfleur, France and Inowroclaw, Poland a complete range of molecular sieves required for the :
- Insulated glass industry,
- Coating, sealant, elastomers, adhesive, packaging applications,
- Natural gas, petrochemicals and refining processing industries,
- Hydrogen purification, air separation units,
- Refrigeration and air brake systems industries.
CECA, an Arkema subsidiary, develops specialty chemicals (fatty amines/surfactants, molecular sieves, activated carbons, filter aids and phosphorus derivatives), and offers high-value-added services to the major industrial players, i.e. the oil, gas, petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, road, and surface treatment industries.
