Human Resources and Corporate Communication
|
Our Human Resources and Corporate Communication departments play a key role in sharing Arkema’s values, both internally and externally.
Human Resources
Human Resources encompasses the broad field of expertise required to manage Arkema employees individually and as a group.
The international scope of our company increases the importance of two strategically-related demands: a local focus to understand needs on the ground and a global perspective for a holistic understanding of the company as a whole. HR staff also strive to enhance employee mobility and integration, while valuing cultural diversity.
Under the guidance of HR operational managers at individual facilities or corporate headquarters, HR teams specialize in the following areas:
-
Human resources development, from the recruitment process to career management, including training.
-
Management and administration, including all statutory and collective bargaining issues.
-
Labor law and employee relations, which entails a support and advisory role to foster effective management-employee relations.
-
Rewarding compensation and benefit policies, to manage retirement and insurance plans, as well as tracking the rules applicable to expatriates and their status.
Corporate Communication
Corporate Communication raises the company’s profile with the public and promotes the circulation of information, both inside and outside Arkema.
Internal and external communication teams design, organize and deploy corporate communication policies and spearhead and coordinate media relations.
