7- Do I have to answer all the questions?

The only questions you have to answer are those marked with an asterisk; the others are optional. We will not discriminate on the basis of any of your answers. The question regarding ethnic origin applies solely to American applicants and applicants for a position in the United States. 11- Once I’ve submitted my application, how long will it take to get a reply?

If you have applied for a specific position, we will get in touch with you within three to four weeks. If you haven’t heard from us at the end of this period, then your application has probably been unsuccessful. However, it will remain in our database, where any of our recruitment officers can consult it for the next two years (minimum legal requirement). If you have sent in a spontaneous application, you may be contacted at any time during the two years that your application will remain on file (minimum legal requirement).

12- How can I be sure that somebody will actually read my resume?

When you apply for an available position, your resume is automatically transferred to the recruitment officer for that particular position. All applications received by a recruitment officer are carefully examined. When you send in a spontaneous application, your resume is automatically added to our applicant database. Our recruitment officers regularly trawl the database for profiles that match their requirements. We therefore advise you to reply directly to an available position notice wherever possible.

13- I’ve already submitted a resume to Arkema online and you have just published an available position notice that interests me. Do I have to apply again?

We recommend that you apply again using your completed application form. All you have to do is access your file in our job space and apply for that specific position. The recruitment officer in charge of the position in question will then examine your resume.

14- How long will you keep my resume in your database?

So that we can keep your details on file for a sufficiently long period of time, your resume will remain in the database for two years (minimum legal requirement), where it can be consulted by our recruitment team. When your resume is eventually removed from our database, you will be notified by e-mail.

15- If I change my e-mail address, do I have to create a new account for my new address?
