Risk prevention

By promoting major risk prevention and safety at the workstation, Arkema's policies and commitments have made industrial safety central to its corporate objectives.

• Arkema's safety initiative is based on identifying and managing risks;
• It is implemented worldwide under the title "Safety in Action", and relies on an internal management system that is evaluated periodically to ensure that actions taken are appropriate, progress is measured, and new progress objectives are defined;
• This also involves expertise in the fields of process control, technical inspection, and transportation, together with a specific multiannual investment program for the industrial facilities.
   

Safety policy

Arkema's safety policy focuses on three areas: 

• Preventing major risks;
• Establishing safety management systems;
• Ensuring safety at the workstation.
    
  Arkema is committed to ongoing progress in industrial safety. A safety management system evaluated by external audits in accordance with the International Safety Rating System (ISRS) is now in place in every industrial facility around the world.
