High performance plastics for all sports
Light, flexible and resistant, combining performance and safety, the plastic materials of the Arkema group are popular with athletes of all levels. Pebax®, and Rilsan® and Rilsamid® polyamides are used in the manufacturing of sports shoes (running, ski, soccer, basketball, rugby), tennis rackets and skis.
For additional comfort, the Evatane® act as shock absorbers in sports shoes. Finally, the qualities of stability, lightness and resistance of the Orgalloy® polyamide alloys have achieved significant popularity among roller skaters.
Pebax® Rnew : concentrated energy
Soles made of Pebax® Rnew elastomer combine all the properties required for high performance running shoes: energy restitution, flexibility, durability, comfort and especially lightness. Easy to transform and decorate, Pebax® Rnew is in part of plant origin (castor oil).
For 100% natural beauty
The cosmetics market is faced with a growing demand for natural products. To respond to this need, the Arkema group has developed Oleris®, a 100% plant-based range of products (castor oil plant), used as intermediates in the synthesis of aromas and fragrances, and also as ingredients in beauty and cosmetic products.
Orgasol® Green Touch: soft and renewable
This new ultra fine powder is 100% made of plant-based raw materials. Inspired by the principles of “green” chemistry, Orgasol® Green Touch is used as a texturing agent in the manufacturing of makeup products (lipstick, mascaras, powders) and facial skin care creams and sunscreens.
