Getting to know our future employees
To help scout for the talent that will shape the chemical industry of the future, we foster special relations with the best academic programs for students in our fields.
For example, we support France’s Ecole Supérieure de Physique et Chimie Industrielles (ESPCI) and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques (ENSIC) in Nancy, by offering plant tours and conferences and providing sponsorship, etc.
We are pursuing similar initiatives in our subsidiaries, for example in China, where our growth outlook is strong.
Closer working relationships with schools in our fields, through job fairs and sponsorship initiatives, help us single out the students who share our values and who, tomorrow, will be our Group’s technicians, engineers and managers.
In France, Arkema tends to focus its actions on the ParisTech and Fédération Gay Lussac schools, as well as on generalist engineering schools like Centrale in Paris.
Arkema’s recruitment efforts do not just attract future engineers and researchers. In France, where the Group regularly recruits technicians and supervisors, Arkema also targets BTS and DUT students, as well as students from vocational colleges.
