The credit analyst assesses the acceptable credit risk of customers, implements decisions, and carries out monitoring and auditing.

Role of the job

The credit analyst assesses the acceptable credit risk of customers, implements decisions, and carries out monitoring and auditing.

The role consists of determining the credit limit established by the business units for each of their customers (risk prevention), as well as helping improve working capital through actions decided in coordination with the business units.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the business units and the company's insurance to set credit limits
  • Ensure proper implementation of procedures to offer customer credit and, if needed, forms of security to reduce the risk
  • Inform all the stakeholders (business units, management, subsidiaries) of specific risks
  • Help the business units recover overdue receivables
  • Follow-up the various steps of litigation proceedings
  • Manage rates (commissions, etc.) and requests relating to agents

Skills required

  • Thoroughness and perseverance.
  • Self-reliance and resourcefulness.
  • Good interpersonal skills, adaptability.
  • Fluent English.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Excel.

Training

Two-year undergraduate diploma with some background in accounting.
